Slewing Bearing Unique Application Characteristics

Slewing bearings (slewing bearings) have unique load-bearing characteristics and are commonly used on lifting appliances, excavators, rotary tables, wind turbines, telescopes and tank turrets. This prompted designers to rethink the traditional slewing bearing configuration.

The use of a single slewing ring instead of two sets of slewing bearings not only reduces the height of the device, but also simplifies the component structure. Therefore, the slewing ring is particularly suitable for use in new operating devices in industrial automation.

The user and the slewing bearing manufacturer discuss the design goals and the suitability of the slewing ring, which helps to optimize the performance of the system at the lowest cost and to ensure trouble-free operation.
